If you are into streaming as much as I am, then you probably have both a Netflix account and an Amazon account. That being said, Hatfield and McCoys starring Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton is streaming right now for Netflix members. It follows close friends Devil Anse Hatfield and Randall McCoy as they return to their neighboring homes after the Civil War -- Hatfield in West Virginia, McCoy across the river in Kentucky -- to building tensions and resentments that soon explode into warfare. It's a 3 episode series that run about 1 hr and 30 minutes a piece.
Going back to Amazon, you can check out the movie that earned seven Oscars, including the Oscar for best picture for Star and Director Kevin Costner. Dances with Wolves follows Costner from the battlefields of the American Civil War to the open plains of the American West where Lt. John Dunbar integrates with a Native American Tribe. Most people have seen Dances with Wolves and it's worth watching again. If you have never seen this Costner epic, I suggest you do so now.
Select Bond Movies are available to stream through the month of April on Amazon. They are also ready to watch on Netflix with no expiration date that I can see. Great news for those of us who are members of Amazon Prime. You can stream Into the Wild starring Emile Hirsch in the true story of Christopher Mcandless. Chris graduated from Emory University and had a promising career and life ahead of him. He gave all of his savings, $24000 to charity and hiked into the Alaskan wilderness to live off the land. What happens next can be argued as either inspirational or pure ignorance. The soundtrack was done by Eddie Vedder, and is one of the best movie soundtracks out there. Enjoy.
Speaking of original series. Netflix will be coming out with this little gem
beginning April 19th. It comes from Director Eli Roth, most famously known as the Bear Jew from Inglorious Basterds and Director of the Hostel movies.
The series stars Bill Skarsgard, the son of famous Swedish Actor Stellan Skarsgard. It also features Famke Jensen of Xmen fame. It appears to be about a murdered girl in a small Pennsylvania town where every one has secrets and we find out if their is a Monster among them.
If your into horror, check it out.

Rumor has it that Netflix will be coming out with a brand new original series come the end of 2014. A deal with “Matrix” creators Andy and Lana Wachowski for a new sci-fi series. Netflix describes “Sense8” as “a gripping global tale of minds linked and souls hunted.”
Not exactly sure what that entails, but if your a big fan of The Matrix series, it means you should be very excited about the possiblites this series will bring. Unfortunately you can not stream any of the Matrix movies right now on either Netflix or Amazon. But you can watch this documentary from Matrix star Keanu Reeves called Side By Side.
IMBD pegs it as such: "Investigates the history, process and workflow of both digital and photochemical film creation. It shows what artists and filmmakers have been able to accomplish with both film and digital and how their needs and innovations have helped push filmmaking in new directions. Interviews with directors, cinematographers, colorists, scientists, engineers and artists reveal their experiences and feelings about working with film and digital. Where we are now, how we got here and what the future may bring." http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2014338/

Ben Affleck just won an Oscar for Best Picture with his 2013 hit Argo. He has had a couple of other movies in which he directed that were quite good but unfortunately not on any stream now websites. Namely, The Town and Gone Baby Gone.
This was not Ben's first Oscar acceptance however as he is most famously remembered for winning an Oscar over fifteen years ago with up and coming star pal Matt Damon. The Oscar was for Best Screenplay. Both Affleck and Damon starred in the movie along with Robin Williams. This drama follows Matt Damon as a twenty year old South Boston laborer with Affleck as his best friend. Damon plays the role of Will Hunting, a genius Orphan working mediocre jobs until his talent is found by one of the most gifted Mathematicians in America. Robin Williams is the therapist faced with the task of getting Will to think about his future and recognize the gift he has to share with the world. It is available to stream on Netflix. I highly recommend you check it out.
